Privacy policy

Plain words on what we collect, why, and how to have it removed. Last updated 4 October 2026.

Who we are

Jugaad Studio (studio.jugaad.sh) and Jugaad (jugaad.sh) are run by Durakart Marketing Private Limited, Kolkata, India. For anything about your data, write to atish@jugaad.sh or call 98300 90897.

What we collect

  • The enquiry form: your name, business name, phone or email, and what you write to us. We use it only to reply to you and to talk about your project.
  • Where you came from: when you send the form, we note which page or link brought you to the site (for example a search or an Instagram link). It is kept in your browser only for that visit, with no cookies, and saved only with your enquiry.
  • Visit statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, phone, Instagram or LinkedIn: we keep them so we can reply and follow up.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your details to anyone.
  • We don't add you to a mailing list without asking.
  • We don't use advertising cookies or trackers on this site.

Where it is kept

Enquiries are stored in our database (Neon, servers in Singapore) and the site is hosted by Vercel. Email runs on Google Workspace. These providers process the data for us under their own security and privacy terms.

Our social media accounts

We publish our own posts on Instagram and LinkedIn, sometimes using our internal tools connected through the platforms' official APIs. Those tools only post our own content and read our own posts' statistics; they don't collect data about people who view or follow our pages.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and messages are kept while we are in touch and for up to 3 years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time: write to atish@jugaad.sh. We reply within 30 days. This follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date.
